Don't let the world become a living hell!

Our world would have been a much better place, had we not forgotten why God made us different from the other beings and positioned us as the “Master of all creatures”. We were given this edge over others, so that we can think for our own betterment as well as others’, what the animals can’t. What we ended up doing is, harming our own species as much as harming the others.

We do not need to experience hell post death, for we have well turned our world into a living example of the same. We won’t ever stop playing the blame game for it, but what is undeniably true is that we all have equally contributed to it. In fact, ironically we do express the same without realizing it. For example, while paying condolence over someone’s death, we add these words while sympathizing that- “May their soul rest in peace, for they have been freed from the shackles and the miseries of life”. That means we agree that this world is a cruel and miserable place to live in. How conclusively we have drifted the beautiful nature created by the almighty, into the soup of despair.

It is tiring and distressing, to have that daily dose of gloomy news, about brutal crimes that throw the victim’s life mentally, physically, emotionally or socially out of order. What doesn’t make sense is that sometimes, the most heinous crimes are over matters as little as over-taking a vehicle on the road. What is wrong with us humans?  Why have we given away our reasoning power and are taking decisions with our impulsive nerve? Is there no value of a human life in our eyes?  We cannot personally dispense justice to anyone but, what we can do on our part is to prevent ourselves and other near ones from falling prey to someone’s frustrated and drained logic. To bring about a change, we need to start monitoring ourselves and our temperament and avoid being a victim of hastiness. If each of us does that, a change is not far away.
